Niger Junta Cuts Food, Water Supplies To Ouster President; Punished For Being Pro-U.S.?

Niger's military leadership is depriving ousted President Mohamed Bazoum of food, water, and electricity, according to a Bloomberg report citing people familiar with the matter. Bazoum has been held captive at an army camp for the past two weeks. Meanwhile, Niger's junta has announced the appointment of a 21-member cabinet led by Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine.
