Pak secretly begs before Afghan Taliban to tackle TTP terror amid rising attacks | Details

Pakistan has urged Afghan Taliban leaders to help in countering the threat posed by Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) amid rising attacks. The Express Tribune quoted sources as saying that in line with the decision of Pak NSC the Afghan government was told that Kabul will have to neutralise the TTP threat. Pakistan cited the Doha agreement as well as bilateral cooperation to convince Kabul. To avoid any deterioration in ties, Pakistan persuaded the Afghan Taliban behind closed doors.
