Former ISI chief Faiz Hameed has been taken into military custody, the Pakistan Army’s media wing, ISPR, said on August 12. According to Dawn newspaper, the military has also initiated court-martial proceedings against Hameed, marking the first time a former spymaster in Pakistan is being court-martialed.
