Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hit out at the Palestinian Authority after it said that Israel massacred its civilians at the Nova Music Festival on October 7. In an address to the nation, Netanyahu termed the PA's statement "preposterous". Meanwhile, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh denounced Israeli operations in Gaza, saying "killing is for the purpose of killing, in the spirit of revenge, and with the aim of displacing our people."
