Palestinian minister says Israeli West Bank moves amount to 'de facto annex'

Palestinian Minister of the Land Authority Alaa al-Tamimi from Ramallah on Monday described recent Israeli measures in the West Bank as 'illegal' adding those amount to 'de facto annexation' that undermines the two-state solution. Al-Tamimi said that since 1967 Israel has repeatedly sought to consolidate control over the West Bank in an effort to formalise its presence there. He called on the international community to take stronger action, warning that the measures ultimately aim to seize Palestinian land. Watch for details
