Putin Heaps Praise On Iran For 'Punishing' Israel, Blasts U.S. For Fanning War Fire In Middle East

Iran has released its version of the phone call between President Ebrahim Raisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. As per the readout, Putin told Iran that its attack on Israel "was the best way to punish it for a criminal act in the shadow of the inaction of the Security Council."
