Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has been briefed by Russian Academy of Sciences chief Gennady Krasnikov on what Moscow is touting as major breakthroughs in drone control systems, holding them up as proof that Russia can regain “technological superiority” despite Western sanctions and battlefield pressure. The advances reportedly cover more autonomous, jam‑resistant and long‑range control of unmanned systems, which the Kremlin presents as a cornerstone of its next‑generation military and space capabilities.
