Putin snubs Sharif; Moscow refuses to give Pak discounted Russian crude oil

Russia has refused to give crude oil to Pakistan. Reportedly, Pakistan had asked for 30-40% discount on Russian crude oil but Moscow declined the request due to other prior commitments. It claimed that there are no volumes of oil left currently. This has come as a global embarrassment for the Shehbaz Sharif government, who sent a delegation headed by Pakistan's Petroleum Minister to Moscow recently for a three-day trip.
