The second phase of the tactical nuclear drills saw Russian forces practicing electronic missile launch. The Russian Ministry of Defence published a video in which they could be seen loading a rocket into a cruiser and escorting a mobile missile system to a field. It also included Russian naval officers counting down to launch, which included pushing the "launch" button, while concentrating on a mock target.
