- China has taken a dig at India after Sri Lanka deferred docking of its 'spy' ship Yuan Wang 5 at Hambantota Port from August 11-17. In reference to the reports that Sri Lanka's move was attributed to concerns expressed by India, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said, "It is senseless to pressure Sri Lanka by citing the issue of security concerns. China urges relevant parties to see China's scientific explorations in a reasonable and sensible way and stop disturbing the normal exchange between China and Sri Lanka." Meanwhile, Sri Lanka confirmed holding talks with China after Xi Jinping regime sought an urgent meeting with Ranil Wickremesinghe government. Watch this video for more details.
