• Pakistan's army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa is preparing to retire in November 2022. As per Dawn report, Bajwa has communicated that he doesn't want another term as Pakistan's army chief. Soon, the Shehbaz Sharif government will begin the process to shortlist Bajwa's successor and take one of the toughest calls of its tenure.
