Thailand Vs Cambodia: War for hills 677 & 350 with Russian-origin rockets - border conflict worsens

Thailand’s Defence Ministry said Cambodian forces fired BM-21 rockets into Thai territory during clashes along the disputed border, marking a sharp escalation in tensions between the two neighbours. Officials said Thai troops repelled attempts to seize positions near the Prasath Thakwai area, while casualties on the Thai side reportedly rose to 16, with several civilians injured. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced on both sides of the border as fighting continues. Thailand has also imposed restrictions on vessels suspected of supplying Cambodia with fuel or weapons. Both countries blame each other for violating a ceasefire previously brokered by the United States.
