Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on September 17 that he would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week. PM Modi is scheduled to visit the US from September 21-23 to attend the QUAD summit. However, despite criticising India over the trade ties, Trump called PM Modi a “fantastic man."
