Watch: Couple floats to wedding venue in cooking vessel in rain-hit Kerala

A couple in Kerala sailed to their wedding venue as heavy rains lashed the southern state. The couple was seen in a cooking vessel in Kerala’s Alappuzha. The video of the couple went viral on social media. The bride Aishwarya & groom Akash are seen sitting in a round cooking pot. The pot is pushed by two men as the cameraman attempts to capture the couple. Hindustan times could not independently verify the video. Torrential rainfall caused landslides and flash floods in several districts in Kerala. Over 20 people were killed so far and several were missing, as per reports. The IMD issued a yellow alert for 11 districts in Kerala on Monday. NDRF and armed forces were deployed across the state to assist in rescue operations.
