Watch: Joe Biden arrives at White House for first time as president

US President Joe Biden entered the White House for the first time as chief executive after walking an abbreviated parade route. Biden concluded his inaugural parade by walking a final short distance along Pennsylvania Avenue towards the White House with his family. Biden and his family held hands and strolled, waving to a meager crowd because of coronavirus social distancing guidelines. Biden was seen wearing his protective mask amid sounds of ‘Hail to the Chief’. Biden jogged over to the sidelines several times to stop to talk to reporters and spectators. The 46th president and first lady Jill Biden walked through a military cordon lining the White House driveway with the flags of US states, leading the first couple to the main entrance under the North Portico. Democrat Joe Biden was sworn in as president of the United States on Jan 20. The inauguration was held under tight security with over 25,000 National Guards on duty. Watch the full video for more.
