Watch | Tiger cub takes a stroll at an Australian beach

An Australian theme park took one of its charges for a stroll on a Gold Coast Beach. Adira the tiger was taken on the outing by animal handlers from Dreamworld in Queensland. The 10-month-old cub has been raised by tiger handler Patrick Martin-Vegue. This was her first beach outing and Dreamworld said she 'loved' the experience. Handlers said the main aim of the exercise was to draw public attention to tiger conservation. Dreamland said the outing had been approved in advance by the local authorities and that Adira was receiving appropriate care from a vet.
