Prominent Palestinian Israa Jaabis was set free by Israel as part of a deal with Hamas in exchange for hostages. Jaabis returned home after spending eight years in an Israeli prison. Jaabis was 31 when she was convicted of allegedly detonating a gas cylinder in her car at a checkpoint in 2015, wounding an Israeli police officer.
