Pak appeals to China over CPEC project delays; Asks Beijing to fast track deals

Pakistan has appealed to China for early finalisation of financial deals and projects under the China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC). Pakistan has urged China to put $18.5 billion worth of five projects on fast track. As per a report in The Express Tribune, Pakistan's Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal expressed fears that further delay in the railway project will collapse the rail system in the country within a year.
