Residents of Denmark have something to smile about... their country has been declared the happiest in the world. The 2016 World Happiness Report ranks happiness by six factors, including healthy years of life expectancy, social support and GDP. Denmark leads the pack, with Switzerland next.. then Iceland, Norway, Finland and Canada. The report was compiled by independent experts ahead of the UN's World Happiness Day on March 20th. The United States placed just 13th... not surprising according to head of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Jeffrey Sachs.
