Kyiv: Ukraine minister, 17 dead as chopper crashes enroute Russia conflict ‘hotspot’ | Details

18 people, including Ukraine's interior minister, three children and Kyiv police deputy chief have been killed after a chopper came crashing down on a kindergarten in Brovary near Kyiv. The minister, Denys Monastyrsky, was with eight others in the helicopter and was reportedly on his way to a conflict hotspot. Several videos of the crash site, which was engulfed in flames, showed debris of the chopper. In one video, cries for help could also be heard. It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
