Yogi contesting UP polls forcing Akhilesh to run for MLA? Watch SP's response

- Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav might contest the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Elections. Akhilesh Yadav said that if at all he decides to contest the elections from Azamgarh, he would first seek the permission of people first. In November last year, Akhilesh Yadav had said he would not contest the election. Following which, the Samajwadi Party rushed to clarify that such a decision had yet to be taken by the party. But now in the light of the fact that the BJP has nominated chief minister Yogi Adityanath as a candidate from Gorakhpur (Urban) and deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya from Serathu seats, speculations are rife that Akhilesh Yadav may also contest this year's assembly elections in the state.
