During a press conference, a reporter questioned him, “Why do you think we don't know more about the guy who shot you in the ear?”

Trump responded, “We can no longer blame Biden for that one. They are giving me a report next week sometime. And I do believe I'll be releasing it.”

Trump warns Iran of severe ramifications if they try to assassinate him

The POTUS made it clear that he expects full disclosure, stating, “No more excuses. No more holding back because of Biden... I’m entitled to know. And they held it back long enough.”

“As it relates to a request by the president, any information held by the Secret Service will be provided to the president, without exception,” a Secret Service spokesperson told NewsNation.

Last Tuesday, Trump warned Iran against any potential assassination attempts on him in front of reporters. “That would be a terrible thing for them to do. Not because of me, they would be obliterated. I’ve left instructions. If they do it, they get obliterated. There won’t be anything left,” he said.

One of the assassination attempts occurred on July 13, 2024, when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at a Trump campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was hit in the ear by a bullet, while Butler County Fire Chief Corey Comperatore was tragically killed. Two other individuals sustained injuries during the attack before Crooks was fatally shot by the Secret Service.

In September 2024, there was a second assassination attempt on Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Investigators reported a man, who has been identified as Ryan Routh, moved into position outside the perimeter of the compound and aimed an assault rifle through the fence.

A Secret Service agent on patrol spotted Routh and intervened before any shots could be fired. Six cell phones were later found in Routh’s car.
