Mabton Colwash Fire evacuation map: Wildfire spreads in Yakima County; Glade Road on alert

A Level 3 “Go Now” evacuation order is in effect south of Highway 22, from the south side of Glade Road to the county line.

Update: According to Watch Duty, the Colwash Fire has crossed Glade Road and is now about one mile east, near the power lines. A second-alarm response has been requested to help protect nearby structures. The fire has burned more than 700 acres in Yakima County. See the map here.

Initial report: The Colwash Fire is burning near Mabton in Yakima County, Washington. The blaze has burned more than 700 acres, prompting evacuation orders in the area.

Evacuation map and update

A Level 3 “Go Now” evacuation order is in effect south of Highway 22, from the south side of Glade Road to the county line. A Level 2 “Be Ready” alert is in place north of Highway 22 in the Mabton area.

The evacuation information was issued by the Yakima Valley Office of Emergency Management through the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) and shared on Facebook.
