UPDATE: Reddit, which experienced a brief outage on Sunday evening, has since been fully restored. According to DownDetector, the last outage reports were logged around 5 p.m., and reports have since tapered off. No recent user complaints were visible on X (formerly Twitter) either.
Reddit has not issued an official statement confirming the brief disruption.

According to DownDetector, reports of issues began around 4 p.m. EDT on Sunday, with most users reporting problems with both the app and website. Some users also noted server-related issues.

{{/usCountry}}As of 4:30 p.m., DownDetector had received more than 2,000 outage reports for Reddit. Users reported issues with uploading and viewing images and videos.
One person reported, "Images and videos are turning on and off."
Another wrote, "Images and videos are now a hit and miss."
A third user complained, "Images are appearing as links to the image, looking at a specific subreddit causes a server error to stop loading posts after about 10 posts."
Another expressed, "Goodness I'm back again. I was gonna post that images aren't loading and the site's hosting is trash.. but my comment from just 2 days ago is still here, so no need lol."
Reddit has not responded to the reports.
