Australian news channel political editor Chris Uhlmann lambasted US President Donald Trump’s appearance at the G20 conference in Hamburg, Germany, calling him an “uneasy, lonely, awkward figure” who was left “isolated and friendless” with “no desire and no capacity to lead the world”.

Trump is determined to lead the United States out of the Paris climate accord signed by 153 countries. Uhlmann said a “deft” President would have found a topic with which to rally them.
