With Rs 56.6 crores already in its kitty, AR Murugadoss' Holiday is already the fifth biggest hit of the year. Do we see it enter the hallowed Rs 100-crore club like the director's last, Ghajini?
Akshay Kumar in an action avatar seems to have set the box office on fire. Holiday: a Soldier is Never Off Duty is on its way to register its name in the biggest hits of the year and has already made Rs 56.37 crore at the ticket windows till Tuesday.

The film was released on Friday, June 6.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is a remake of his Southern hit Thupakki and also stars Sonakshi Sinha. The film made Rs 12.18 crore on Friday and followed it up with Rs 12.34 crore on Saturday.
Backed by good reviews, the film made Rs 16.8 crore on Monday and its Monday and Tuesday collections have also been decent.

With the big release next week being Fugly with mostly new faces, also co-produced by Akshay, Holiday is likely to continue its good run. It is already the fifth biggest hit of the year and may climb up a few notches further. In fact, this may make to the Rs 100-crore club.
