Q) Your idea of a great New Year’s party: DIY with friends over; an all-night rager in the city, or a quiet getaway?

I prefer to go out to a not-so-crowded place, be it inside or outside the city, but definitely at somebody’s home. And just sit, chat and have great food together.

Q) Perfect music to bring in 2016: EDM, Bollywood or good old pop music?

I like Bollywood music and American pop.

Q) A must-have artist on this year’s New Year playlist.

I love listening to Adele these days, so wouldn’t mind her on New Year’s Eve too. I would love listening to Bruno Mars, Indian Ocean, AR Rahman and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as well.

Q) Party till dawn, or call it a night after 12 because, you know, it’s gym/yoga as usual on January 1?

I call it a night by midnight or even before that, not because I have yoga in the morning but because I am a morning person. I love waking up early — it makes me feel like I have more hours to live.

Q) Cosmopolitan, beer or whisky on the rocks?

For me, it’s just some great food.

Q) Good old bottled beer, or fancy craft at a microbrewery?

Not a huge fan of beer, but would definitely like to try some at a microbrewery.

Q) At a house party: drinking games or karaoke?

Even though I am a bad singer, I would choose karaoke over drinking games.

Q) One rule for any guest, for whenever you’re hosting a party at your place?

That you can’t just sit in one corner the whole time. You have to keep swinging around.

Q) One celebrity (Indian or otherwise, current or old) you wish you could party with?

I love the life Kajol brings with her to any type of gathering, so would love to party with her.

Q) Any handy hangover cure that you always try/always works?

I don’t have the best cures. But I have tried espresso for few of my hung-over friends.

Q) Favourite city in the world for a good party.

So far, of all the places I’ve been to, I have liked the party scene in Sydney the best.

Q) Would you rather: wish your fans a Happy New Year on Twitter/post a photo on Instagram to wish them?

I would post a photo on Instagram and then sync it with my Twitter.

Q) Favorite pub/club/place to go party in Mumbai.

Apart from Tryst and Royalty, I haven’t partied much in Mumbai.
