Suriya is one among the actors who goes all out to support his wife Jyothika in achieving her acting dreams. Having been instrumental in her successful return to the arc lights after a long hiatus with 36 Vayadhinile, he continues to encourage her take up more projects.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, Suriya released a single called Adi Vaadi Thimiraa from national award-winning filmmaker Bramma’s Magalir Mattum, which has music by Ghibran and an all-women cast of Urvashi, Saranya Ponvannan and Bhanupriya, apart from a few supporting actors such as Nasser and Livingston.
Jyothika plays a documentary filmmaker and she rides a Royal Enfield bullet in the film, which is produced by Suriya. According to the director, the film is gearing up for release in May, as they want to cash in on the summer vacation and draw as many women audiences as possible.
