A Muslim Madrasa in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal is running a campaign for the safety of cows for last six years. The cow is deemed as holy according to the Hindu scriptures. The Madrasa have appealed to the Government to declare the cow as the national animal of India and also make a stop on the slaughter of animals that produce milk. They also seek to make a ban on the adulterated milk circulating in the country. This does not stop here; the Madrasa also compliments U.P. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's initiative to put a hold on the illegal slaughterhouses in the state.
