Watch | Making waves with wind surfing

Wave sailing world champion, Jason Polakow from Australia became the first person to windsurf the big waves in Nazare, Portugal. Polakow studied the spot, which is 120 kilometers north of Lisbon, for more than a year before riding the 13-metre waves. The swells can reach reach up to 31 metres which is about the height of a 10 storied building. The two time world wave sailing champion is now targeting a world record. The current record is believed to be just over 18 metres, set in Maui, Hawaii.
