Asian Games 2018: 15-year-old Shardul Vihan wins silver medal in double trap shooting

Vihan is the third teenage shooter from India to grab a medal at these Games. 19-year old Lakshay Sheroan won silver in the men’s trap event while 16-year old Saurabh Chaudhary won a gold in the men’s 10m air pistol event.

He though lost out on the gold medal to South Korea’s Shin Hyunwoo in a closely fought final round.

Vihan had produced a sensational performance as he won four gold on a single day in the 61st National Shooting Championship in November last year, beating then-world number one double trapper Ankur Mittal 78-76 in the men’s final.
