Five districts including Ujjain, Sehore, Balaghat, Anuppur and Tikamgarh have already started e-registration, while other districts will begin the process from July 1. The sub-registrar's office is also supposed to go online in addition to the district headquarters.

The software also provides users with the option of checking the market value of their property by going to www.mpigr.gov.in.

The valuation is in accordance with concerning district's collector guidelines. Information regarding bank loans and applicable duty can also be availed.

Under the e-registration system, users can obtain e-Stamps through internet banking or their service providers and not have to go through the process of procuring stamp papers.

The system also makes it possible for users to get information online about the stamp and registration fees to be paid on property purchase or sale.

Besides, information about registry at any place in the state can be obtained through search and a copy of it downloaded online. This will also prevent the fraudulent sales of property.
