Lakshmi, the victim, sustained the injury after a dispute in between her family and relatives on Sunday night. The victim, however, lost her right eye.

MY hospital superintendent AD Bhatnagar had said the operation was complex as the arrow had stuck inside a part of the victim’s brain.

Police said Lakshmi, a resident of Amobhori village of Alirapur district, was taken to a local doctor and then referred to the hospital after an arrow hit her during the dispute.

Police have registered a case against three accused and are raiding various spots to nab them.

Last year, a Bhil from Alirajpur had to travel 240 kilometres in an ambulance to Indore to be operated after an arrow pierced his head.
