In his petition, Sakhlecha said that chief justice maltreated him over two days of hearing on his DMAT petition in the court and his behaviour tantamounted to contempt of his own court.

In response to his contempt petition, registrar of Indore bench of MP high court informed him that his petition had been clubbed for hearing with his DMAT petition for hearing on November 23.

Counsel for Sakhlecha and former advocate general of Madhya Pradesh Anand Mohan Mathur, however, said that he would raise objection against the decision of the high court to club the DMAT petition with contempt petition against the chief justice and he would write to the chief justice, asking him to treat his letter as an application.
