The first teaser trailer for Tiger Shroff’s upcoming superhero film, A Flying Jatt, has been released by Balaji Telefilms online.
Tiger Shroff, who has just experienced the biggest hit of his career with Baaghi, dons a pair of blue tights to fight a chubby villain played by Australian wrestler Nathan Jones.
Nothing about the story, aside from Tiger being some sort of reincarnated God, is hinted at in this short, 1-minute teaser.
Besides beating the villain in ways that send him flying into the stratosphere, Tiger also finds time to romance Jacqueline Fernandez on the fakest lakeside picnic imaginable. And yes, most of the effects here, including a mid-air duel between Tiger and Nathan Jones, look cheesy. Even the romantic scenes are set against obvious greenscreens.
It’s not smart to expect this to be anything close to its Hollywood counterparts, but since it is such a blatant ripoff, at least they could have left off the queasy melodrama. At the very least, it could have outdone Krrish. But no such luck.

Directed by Remo D’Souza, A Flying Jatt also features KK Menon and is expected to arrive on August 25.
