Aamir Khan on Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan doing a Bhansali film together: ‘That’s wonderful’

Actor Aamir Khan celebrated his 54th birthday on Thursday (March 14) and on the occasion interacted with his fans and the media. During the course of the interaction, Aamir spoke about a range of topics including his next film, Laal Singh Chaddha, an official remake of Tom Hanks’ iconic Forrest Gump, asking all to vote in the upcoming elections and Kangana Ranaut being upset with him among other things.
According to a report in Times Now, he also responded to a question on a proposed Sanjay Leela Bhansali film that reportedly features Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Instead of feigning ignorance on the subject, he readily agreed and said it was wonderful news.
He was quoted as saying: “That’s wonderful... they have done 2-3 films in the past.” On the subject of him working with the Dabangg actor, he added: “It’ll happen if the right script comes to us.”
There have been reports that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning a film with Salman and Shah Rukh. The said report adds that Sanjay’s film will be a remake the 1950s classic Baiju Bawra.
Shah Rukh and Salman, who featured in a special song for in the former’s recent release Zero, have worked in films like Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. Meanwhile, Aamir and Salman have worked in cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
Meanwhile, talking about Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir said that he would be losing close to 20 kgs over a period of the next six months and that the film’s shoot will begin only in October this year.
