Power couple, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, takes their role as parents very seriously. On December 15, the school where their daughter Aaradhya studies, celebrated its annual day. Present in school was the Bachchan family -- Ash, Abhishek, Jaya and Brinda Rai. Only actor Amitabh Bachchan was missing from the scene as he was in Thailand shooting for the Aamir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan, reports NDTV.

And if you thought, it was only Aaradhya’s big day at school, you are wrong. Also part of the annual day functions was AbRam, younger son of Shah Rukh Khan. Kiaan, son of Karisma Kapoor with her ex husband Sanjay Kapur, was also part of the event.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya, whose last film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was a hit, is busy shooting for Fanney Khan, which also stars National Award-winner Rajkummar Rao. Shah Rukh is keeping himself busy shooting for Aanand L Rai’s next which also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.

Abhishek Bachchan was recently in news over a social media spat, when a person lashed out him for denying his daughter a normal childhood. Aaradhya was photographed recently with Aishwarya at a wedding in Karnataka.

The Twitter user, tweeted: “Is ur child not going to school? I do wonder What school gives permission to take a out a kid when u like to go a a trip with mom. Or are u guys going for beauty without brains. Always hand in hand with a arrogant mom. Not having a normal childhood.”

To which, Abhishek replied, “Ma’am, as far as I know… Most schools are shut for the week-end. She goes to school on the weekdays. Maybe you should try it considering you spelling in your tweet.”
