In pictures shared by Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar, the actor with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan can be seen listening to Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherji in rapt attention.

Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and director Ayan Mukherji finally met Amitabh Bachchan at his home on Friday. Together, they prepared for their upcoming film Brahmastra and clicked pictures from their discussion.

“Oh captain my captain! Prep with the legend @amitabhbachchan #brahmastra #ranbirkapoor,” Alia captioned a picture from their meeting. Alia, Ranbir and Amitabh can be seen earnestly watching an excited Ayan share his thoughts about the film.

The film’s producer Karan Johar also shared a separate picture from their meeting. “The legend @amitabhbachchan preps for #BRAHMASTRA @aliaabhatt #ranbirkapoor #ayanmukerji,” he captioned the photo.

Brahmastra will be a fantasy adventure made as a trilogy. Alia and Ranbir were recently in Bulgaria where they were shooting for the film. The two are also dating, a confession made by Ranbir in a recent interview to GQ magazine. “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit,” he had said.

The actor also said that he is enjoying the phase when he is ‘newly in love’.

Ranbir will soon be seen as Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju. Alia is also working on Kalank with an ensemble cast and has already shot for Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh. Amitabh was recently seen in 102 Not Out with Rishi Kapoor and will soon be seen in Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan.
