After Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Anushka Sharma, Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone have also accepted Union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s online fitness dare.
The 75-year-old actor took to Twitter to accept the challenge. “@Ra_THORe we accept the challenge of #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge... Main mantra: BE CONTINUOUSLY MOBILE... Get up for every errand yourself, gym each day, push away that excess morsel of temptation, drive or cycle yourself, see the sun more often,” Bachchan wrote, describing his fitness routine.
The initiative, called the Hum Fit Toh India Fit challenge, was started by the sports minister, who posted a short video of himself doing push-ups few days ago. Rathore began a fitness challenge on Twitter, requesting people to share pictures and videos of their favourite workout. Rathore nominated Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, Saina Nehwal and cricketer Virat Kohli for the challenge, who then posted their workout videos. Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, Akhil Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya, PT Usha, PV Sindhu, Tiger Shroff, Farhan Akhtar, Babita Phogat and TV actor Soumya Tandon also joined the fitness campaign.
