Anil Kapoor remembers Sridevi, writes we see your reflection in Janhvi, Khushi

Remembering Sridevi, Anil Kapoor wrote not a day goes by when the family doesn’t remember her.

Sridevi would have been 55 today. On the birth anniversary of the actor, who passed away in February leaving her family and fans shocked, brother-in-law and actor Anil Kapoor took to Twitter to pay her a tribute. Anil and Sridevi were considered a hit jodi of their time and acted in films such as Lamhe, Roop Ka Raja Choron Ki Rani among many other.

Anil Kapoor and Sridevi have worked in a number of films together.

Taking to Twitter, Anil wrote, “A true star that shone brightly on-screen & lit up the lives of everyone she touched. Not a day goes by when we don’t miss you Sri. We see your reflection in #JanhviKapoor & #KhushiKapoor everyday. You live on in our hearts & minds...”

Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor has also shared an adorable picture with her parents Sridevi and Boney Kapoor on the occasion. The 21-year-old took to social media to post a childhood picture of her as a child in her mom’s arms.

Sridevi passed away on February 24 in Dubai, where she went to attend a family wedding. Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, she was known for her iconic roles in Hindi movies like Chandni, Lamhe, Mr India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma, and many more. The Padma Shri awardee had also made a mark with her stellar performances in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films.
