Croatia calling? No, Huma Qureshi chooses to be with father in Gorakhpur
The actor was scheduled to fly to Croatia for an advertisement shoot. She chose to go to Gorakhpur for a cricketing event.
Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi was supposed to fly to Croatia for a brand shoot last week. But the actor took a detour instead, and decided to visit Lucknow. A source close to the actor says, “Huma was supposed to attend a brand shoot in Croatia on October 22, but on the same day, the closing ceremony of the Indian Grahim Cricket League was being held at Gorakhpur. Since Huma wished to be a part of the event in order to support the players, she postponed her shoot by one day.”
The source adds that Huma was accompanied by her father, Saleem Qureshi, for the event. “Huma’s father is a big fan of cricket and attended the closing ceremony too. They first flew to Lucknow and then took a chopper from there to Gorakhpur,” says the source.
Apparently, Huma had informed the team in Croatia about the development a day in advance. “She requested them to postpone the shoot by a day and they obliged. Huma flew to Croatia on October 23 and will return to Mumbai on October 27,” adds the source. Huma could not be reached for a comment.
