Gulaab Gang rules box office on day one
Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla-starrer Gulaab Gang emerged as the winner in a three-film fight this Friday. The film earned Rs 2.41 crore while Queen and Total Siyaapa collected Rs 1.8 crore and Rs 1.1 crore respectively.

Soumik Sen's directorial venture Gulaab Gang earned Rs 2.41 crore at the box office on day one of its opening. The film has been mired in controversy. After Uttar Pradesh-based activist Sampat Pal filed a petition in the Delhi high court requesting a stay on the film, its very release was uncertain.
The film was okayed for release only on Thursday.
Vikas Bahl's
, starring Kangana Ranaut, is a woman-centric film which received good reviews. Its collections, however, remained uninspiring at Rs 1.8 crore.
Ali Zafar-Yami Gautam's Indo-Pakistan love story
scored the lowest amongst the three releases this week, with Rs 1.1 crore in its kitty.
