Girish Kumar who debuted with Prabhudeva's directorial venture Ramaiyya Vastavaiya says he is determined to make a mark for himself in the industry by doing films other than his producer-father's company.
Bollywood newcomer Girish Kumar says he is likely to do a film outside his producer father Kumar Taurani’s banner. Girish had made his debut with Prabhudheva’s directorial venture Ramaiyya Vastavaiya, produced by the actor’s father Kumar Taurani, which bombed at the box office.
“I am reading scripts. I am receiving various film offers like romantic, thriller, etc. There are things being discussed within my father’s production company and outside as well. I want to create my own identity. I am open to do outside banner films,” says Girish.
Meanwhile, Kumar Taurani has bought the rights of the Telugu hit Arya (2004). “It is one of the scripts that we are discussing,” says Girish.
