It’s a pinch-me moment: Priyanka Chopra on being featured on Time cover

The actor talks about having been featured on the cover of Time magazine.

Priyanka Chopra is on a roll. She is working on multiple international projects, her Bollywood career is going well and she won a Padma Shri recently. Now, there’s another reason for the actor to feel ecstatic. Priyanka has been featured on the cover of a popular American news magazine, in their special issue that features the world’s 100 most influential people. She is part of a list that also includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Zuckerberg, Sania Mirza and Raghuram Rajan, among others. “Few moments in life take your breath away, and this honour is one of them. To be named among such an illustrious list of world leaders, game changers and achievers from around the world is a pinch-me moment for me. I am completely overwhelmed,” says Priyanka.

The actor adds that she never expected such an honour. “I remember being inspired by so many that have made this list. But never, in my wildest dreams, did I imagine that I would make the 100 cut one day. This journey has become bigger than I ever imagined. I’m really grateful,” she says.
