Jolly LLB 2 first look: Akshay Kumar, Annu Kapoor and their lawyer avatar

While Akshay Kumar steps in the shoes of Arshad Warsi, Annu Kapoor dons the role played by Boman Irani in the original. Shukla shared a poster which showed caricatures of Annu, Akshay and Saurabh in a courtroom.

Shukla shared a poster which showed caricatures of Annu, Akshay and Saurabh in a courtroom. Subhash Kapoor, who directed the 2013 courtroom drama, once again dons the director's hat for Jolly LLB 2.
Akshay will be seen playing the role of a lawyer in the sequel to the 2013 popular courtroom comedy drama . The actor took to Twitter to share his look which has a traditional touch to it. Sharing the first look of Jolly LLB, Saurabh tweeted, “Started shooting Jolly LLB 2.”
The tweet was later deleted but not before fans saved and started wishing good luck for the film.

Later in the day, Akshay revealed his look from the film. In the image, Akshay seems to be in a pensive mood. He tweeted: “New day with a new look for a new film, let the mayhem begin! ‘Jolly LLB 2’ it is! .” Akshay is seen wearing a lawyer’s outfit, and is sporting a moustache with a red vermilion (tika) on his forehead in his first look from the film.
The sequel will be shot in Lucknow and Varanasi.

The 2013 film, directed by Subhash Kapoor, told the story of Jolly, a struggling lawyer, who comes across a hit-and-run case and decides to fight for the victims.
