While the cast is still to be announced for the sequel to the original which starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha, there was a buzz in the industry that it could be Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Kareena Kapoor.
However, Varun’s casting is the first official announcement.

Judwaa 2 will be the first time Varun Dhawan will play a double role in his four-year-long career. He began his journey in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year and went on to feature in films like Badlapur where he received wide critical acclaim. He was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol-Kriti Sanon-starrer Dilwale (2015).
