You have to be in touch with the evolution: Varun Dhawan

Varun doesn’t try and gauge the audience by interacting with them.

When someone has been around in the industry for only a few years, actors usually try and do projects which showcase them in a certain image, but not Varun Dhawan.

Commenting on his choice of films, he says, “I could have easily done a solo comedy, I have done that in the past, but where is the fun in that? After already watching me in Badlapur and ABCD 2, in my last release with Shah Rukh, the audience got to see something new.”

Varun believes that keeping in touch with the changing tastes of the audience is a must for an actor , he explains, “The audience is changing and it is not changing every year, it is changing every 3 months, they are exposed to new stuff, you have to be in touch with today, what they like, what they don’t. You have to be in touch with the evolution. Right now everyone is in a festive spirit. But I don’t know what will be their mood in 2016, nobody can predict that.”

Varun will try and gauge the audience by interacting with them, he says, “I will try and spend time with people. I love going to cinema halls and watching movies with them.”
