Priyanka Chopra to be back in Bollywood after Quantico success

As Priyanka Chopra returns home to finish Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer Singh dubsmash-ed his way through some of her Quantico dialogues. Congratulations poured in from Bollywood for PC’s TV work too.

Bollywood just can’t get enough of its desi girl Priyanka Chopra after Quantico was telecast in India on Saturday evening. Fraternity veterans like Shabana Azmi, Prakash Jha and Shekhar Kapur took to social media to congratulate the “international star”.

Priyanka Chopra’s ABC show Quantico has garnered a lot of applause in Bollywood. She will be seen in Bajirao Mastani next.

The actor, meanwhile, will be returning to India next week to shoot for her upcoming Bollywood film Bajirao Mastani. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani is a period drama which also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Priyanka took to Twitter on Friday to share her shooting details with her fans and well-wishers. “Ep2 #Quantico starts Tom! Phew.. Breakneck speed! Back to #BajiraoMastani next week..Gotta finish episode..learn lines...sleep...Gn world. Zzzz,” Priyanka tweeted.

The former beauty queen has made her debut in the fiction space with ABC’s Quantico as Alex Parrish, a rookie FBI recruit with a mysterious past. The first episode laid a mysterious pitch with a terrorist attack in New York and the FBI agents under scanner and Priyanka’s character is also a suspect.

Her Bajirao Mastani co-star Ranveer Singh urged fans to see the show while mimicking some dialogues from it in a video. Priyanka thanked him and also termed him a good mimic.
