Rangeela Raja first look: Govinda to play Vijay Mallya, Ramdev? See pics

Govinda will soon be back onscreen with Pahlaj Nihlani’s Rangeela Raja.

After producing Julie 2, former chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Pahlaj Nihalani, is all set to bring Govinda back to the silver screen and is directing his next film, Rangeela Raja. The actor, who was last seen in Aa Gaya Hero, will essay a double role in the movie. It was with Nihalani’s Ilzaam that Govinda made his Bollywood debut in 1986.

Govinda reportedly dons four different avatars, two of those will be inspired by Yoga guru Ramdev and businessman Vijay Mallya.Govinda’s first look from the film went viral as the Mallya and Ramdev looks were leaked online.

“It is titled Rangeela Raja and it’s an out-and-out comedy. But comedy of a kind never attempted by Govinda before. Unlike the streetwise comic characters, Govinda is famous for, he plays a very sophisticated character in Rangeela Raja. He has a double role. But he slips into four different characters. Audiences who have been waiting for Govinda’s comeback will be very pleased to see what he has done in Rangeela Raja. It is almost like a rebirth of Govinda and I feel happy to be doing his comeback film,” Nihalani told IANS.

Three new faces will be introduced as female lead actors for the film.
