Shahid Kapoor, daughter Misha reach hospital to meet Mira Rajput, new baby. See pics
Shahid Kapoor was seen with daughter Misha as they visited wife Mira Rajput and the new baby in the hospital on Thursday evening.
Shahid Kapoor has become father for the second time and the happiness on his face is for everyone to see. The actor was spotted outside Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai where his wife Mira Rajput gave birth to their second child, a baby boy, on Wednesday.
Shahid held his elder daughter Misha in his arms as he was clicked by the paparazzi. He was seen in a green T-shirt and a pair of black shorts. Misha was seen in a yellow frock and sandals. Shahid gave a big smile to the cameras and even made a ‘thumbs up’ sign. Check out their pictures:
Mira was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday evening and was visited by her mother. She gave birth late at night to a boy. Shahid’s half-brother and actor Ishaan Khatter also paid the new family a visit with his mother Neelima Azim.
The actor’s social media accounts appear to have been hacked by a Turkish group of hackers. In the attack, the hackers posted photos and videos of Katrina Kaif, clips of Raj Kapoor’s Awaara and a message defending Allauddin Khilji from his movie Padmaavat.
Shahid and Mira are also parents to their elder daughter, two-year-old Misha. They tied the knot in 2015 and in a recent interview to Rajeev Masand, Shahid talked about his wife with a lot of love. “I got lucky. I married Mira,” Shahid said. “She’s as normal as it gets. We kind of hit it off and decided to get into an arranged marriage. By God’s grace it’s been wonderful, the last three years, and she’s been a huge part of that for me.”
The actor, who is currently busy promoting Batti Gul Meter Chalu, has begun preparing for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy. He will also be seen in a biopic on Asian gold medallist boxer Dingko Singh.
Shahid says he can barely manage a week’s off for his second child. Speaking to Mid Day, Shahid said that while in the case of Misha, he was off work for several months, in case of his second child, despite his best efforts, he just couldn’t do much. “During Misha’s birth [in 2016], I took a couple of months off. This time too, I was negotiating to take a month-long break, but things didn’t work out. I will get only a week off from work. It is too short a duration, but such are the circumstances.”
